He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Steffen and Ida Steffen (Harstick). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Steffen of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Eileen Schlecht (Ronnie), Gina Hardisty (Bill), Megan and Gabe; and his siblings, Lavina Steffen and Leon Steffen (Joan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
