He is survived by: his son Max Chris (Jessica Myer); his grandchildren, Hunter, Gabbi Jenny and Casey Herbolsheimer of Norfolk, NE; his children, Carter, Kylie and Mason Petersen; his brother Tim (Nancy Peterson); his children, Amy and John Arensberg; his grandchild Blair; and his children, Sally and David Schlautman Doug.
