She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kampschneider and Anna Kampschneider (Knust); her husband Dennis Evert; her son James (Clara); and her siblings, Alma Dirkschneider (Vincent), Laverna Ernesti (Aelred) and Marvin.
She is survived by: her children, David (Mary Kay) of West Point, Gerald of San Diego, CA, Barb Alexander of Chaska, MN, Rick (Jan) of Lincoln and Brian (Betty) of Omaha. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (343 N Monitor St, West Point, NE 68788). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Elder Services Foundation or St. Mary's Catholic Church.
