He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Prinz and Margaret Prinz (Schueth); his wife Rose Ann Peatrowsky; his stepmother Kathryn Hughes Prinz; his siblings, Leonard (Millie), Tom (Beata), Dick (Kitty), Kenneth, Rose Ann and Cathy (Joe Whittam); his brother-in-law Bob Agress; and his nieces and nephews, Dave Prinz, Glen Prinz, Linda Placek, Cheryl Placek, Susie McGill and Debbie Campbell.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Gabriel and Faith Neiman; his son Dan Prinz; his grandchildren, Derek Prinz (Haley), Kennedy, Grayson, Thomas Prinz (Elizabeth) and Anna Prinz; his son Mark Prinz (Lori); his grandsons, Joshua Prinz (Taylor Thrush) and Erik Prinz; his daughter Lisa Johnson (Steve); his grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Jace, Harper, Stephanie Hill (Jeremy), Aubrie, Rylan, Mady, Jaxon and Luke Johnson (Kinley Holm); his daughter Julie Meister (Jeff); his grandchildren, Isaac Neiman (Nickolas Wees) and Grace Neiman; his sister-in-law Sharon Agress of Fremont, NE; and his stepsister Judy (Paul Conrad).

The family suggests that memorials be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church and the GA/CC Endowment Funds.
