He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. Slama and Evelyn M. Slama (Kobes); his grandparents, Adolph Sr., Rosie Slama (Duba), Leonard and Mattie Kobes; and his brothers, Robert Elmer Slama and John Edward Slama.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa L; his children, Robert A. Slama (Kayla) and Telisha Carnes (Bobby); his grandchildren, Joe, Royce Slama, Vera Slama Schwisow and Silas Carnes; his siblings, Leon Slama (Wanda), Roger Slama (Nancy Wurst) and Mary Ann Rezac (Joe Houska); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Slama (Robert) and Sharon Slama (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends & neighbors.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Swanton Cemetery (2404 Co Rd 1600, Swanton, NE 68445). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saline Center (1102 Co Rd M, Western, NE 68464).
