He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Filipi and Evelyn Filipi (Synovec); his in-laws, Martin and Lorna Bartels; his brother Gary Filipi; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Filipi and Edward Kotas.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Bartels of Wilber; his children, Jennifer Filipi (Aaron) of Clatonia and Aaron Filipi (Brittany) of Wilber; his granddaughters, Brianna Darling, Avery and Adelyn Filipi; his siblings, Frank, Larry Filipi (Jane) and Susie Bussard (Lawrence); his sisters-in-law, Linda Kotas, Ardell Endorf (Richard) and Diane Krupicka (Alan); and his aunts, Phyllis Filipi and Delores Shufeldt.
