He was predeceased by: his parents, P. J. Jurgens and Tena Jurgens (Jurgens); his siblings, Harold Jurgens, Arlene Stevens and Marian Bigalk; and his sister-in-law Alyce Wallman.

He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Wallman of Adams; his children, Donna Kostal (Bruce) of Papillion, Randy Jurgens (Mary Beth Holms) of Omaha, Bob Jurgens (Teresa) of Topeka, Myron Jurgens (Sarah) of Adams and Darin Jurgens of Adams; his grandchildren, Kara Kostal, Whitney Bruggeman (Reid), Tyson Jurgens (Daniel Hrdilcka), Abby, Hannah Jurgens, Ashley Peavler (Marcus), Cameron Jurgens (Gabrielle), Jadyn Lindgren, Carson, Cooper Jurgens, Chelsea Jurgens (Jacob), Alyssa Jurgens and Noah Jurgens (Emma); his sisters, Alice Schlake (Leland) of Cortland and Lois Frohman of Lincoln; and his brothers-in-law, LeRoy Wallman of Adams, Donovan Wallman (Hope) of Cortland and Harlan Wallman of Cortland. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A prayer will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (18219 S 80th Rd, Pickrell, NE 68422). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established to the family's choice.
