With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo Woeppel of Wisner, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2026 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Woeppel and Addie Woeppel (Mikkelson); his son-in-law Kenneth Taber; and his siblings, Harold, Dale, Glen, Lester, Rodger, Robert, Lila and Arnold.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Woeppel; his children, Rick Woeppel (Amy), Becky Taber and Elizabeth Buss (Tim); his grandchildren, Steven Woeppel, Jeff Woeppel, Jason Taber, Tina Taber, Tayler Hinrichs (Curtis), Amanda Nielsen (Shawn) and Trey Buss; and his siblings, Charlotte Herendeen, David Woeppel and Karen Davis. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
