It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dianne Lynn Thompson of Wood River, Nebraska, who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dianne leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Dianne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her husband Doug; and her daughter Jennifer Koehler. She is survived by: her son Matt Thompson (Megan); her granddaughter Adilyn Thompson; and her siblings, Ron Luth (Betty) of Columbus, David Luth (Marcy) of Grand Island, Teresa Ohlman of Alda and Brenda Kaiser of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church of Wood River or the Wood River Fire and Rescue.
