With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Francis Haller of Wood River, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Haller and Viola Haller (Heinrich); his wife Carolyn Moseley; and his siblings, Bob, Mary and Odel.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Haller of Grand Island and Douglas Haller; his girlfriend Carolyn Gibbs of Shelton; his daughter Kila; his son-in-law Bryan Strasburger of Orlando, Florida; his brother Dennis Haller (Rita); his grandchildren, Jeff, Kristen, Danielle, Daly, Alexis and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Hallie, Milana, Hannah, Samuel, Edmond and Creeden; his extended family, Wayne and Stephanie Martin; Dakota, Oliver, Lucas and Vincent.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (411 W 11th St, Wood River, NE 68883). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Wood River Legion #314 or the Wood River Fire & Rescue.
