He was predeceased by: his parents, Detlor Stitt and Laura Stitt (Rath). He is survived by: his wife Robin Stitt; his children, Adam Stitt, Aaron Stitt, Eric Stitt, Amy Bishop and Molly Schmit; and his brothers, Tom Stitt, David Stitt and Donald Stitt. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
