With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alene Eggerling of Wymore, Nebraska, born in Odell, Nebraska, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alene Eggerling to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lammert Wiemers and Minnie Wiemers (Lieneman); her husband Richard Eggerling; her sister Marlene Swett; and her brother-in-law Pat Swett.

She is survived by : her son Kevin Eggerling (Shaena); her sister Mary Lou Retchless (Kenny); her grandsons, Kannen, Dannie and CJ Eggerling; her aunt Frieda Lieneman; her nieces, Krystal Jackson (Tony), Kandi Behrends (Dustin Adams), Diane Sullivan (Greg) and Pam Vonderloo (Tim); her sister-in-law Letha Jones (Alan); and her cousin Leanna Stenglemeier (Don). She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial has been established to the church and Lutheran Family Services with the funeral home in charge.
