He was predeceased by: his parents, Norval Nielsen and Helen Nielsen (Stephen); and his brother Tim Nielsen. He is survived by: his niece Jill Parsons (Brent) of Kansas City; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paige and Will; his cousins, Grant Rhoades of Beatrice, Jana Kendall of Beatrice, Bobbi Jo Gressley of Hastings, Perian Pattillo of Lincoln and Tony Cain of Gresham; and his friends, Billy and Randy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beatrice Humane Society with the funeral home in charge.
