She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Ehnen and Viola Ehnen Koch (Saathoff); her stepfather Percy Koch; and her siblings, Marvin Ehnen and Eleanor Hoefling.
She is survived by: her son Dan Behrends; her grandchildren, Zach and Maddie Behrends; her sibling's children, Bonnie Mayer, Bruce Hoefling, Brad Hoefling, Mark Ehnen and Cathy Ehnen; and her friend Sue Short. She is also survived by many cousins; and a host of extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Stateline Lutheran Church with Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in charge.
