He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross McKeever and Hazel McKeever; his wife ValJean Bednar; his brother-in-law John Lee; and his stepgrandson Matthew Barnhart.
He is survived by: his children, John McKeever (Carmen) of Wymore, Sara Hier (Dan) of Cortland, Valerie Barnhart (Randy) of Lincoln and Lyndon McKeever (Jenny) of Olathe, Kansas; his grandsons, Caleb McKeever (Lindsey), Jared McKeever of Wymore, Benjamin Hier (Morgan Haner), Garrett Hier of Cortland, Grant and Michael McKeever of Olathe, KS; his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Kaster (Billy), Jennifer Hier and Randy Jr. Barnhart (Jenni); his great grandchildren, Leighton and Callie McKeever; and his siblings, Sherryl Lee of Florida and Ronald McKeever (Dorothy) of Norfolk, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church, Wymore-Blue Springs Area Fund, and the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
