It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Kechely of Wymore, Nebraska, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise Kechely to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buresh and Mary Buresh (Chotenovsky); her husband Melchior Kechely of Mary's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Martha Lytle, Rose Retchless, Mary Winslow, Anna Prebyl, Helen Zvolanek, Franny Essam, Ann Wollenburg, Joe and Stan Buresh.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Kechely (Sharon) of Beatrice, Bill Kechely (Jean) of Lincoln and Patti Milligan (Terry) of Wymore; her grandchildren, Mary Manning Kechely of Elkhorn, Megan Manning Kechely of Lincoln, Tyler Milligan (Kimberly) of Lincoln and Brooke Milligan of Lincoln; and her great grandchildren, Payeton, Andrew Milligan and Kash Boggs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home (505 N 9th St, Wymore, NE 68466). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (115 N 11th St, Wymore, NE 68466). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Wymore Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
