It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma J. Kier of Wymore, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bernhardt and Ruth Bernhardt (Darwin); her husband Donald Kier; her son Ron Kier; and her parents-in-law, Bernard and Helen Kier.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Kier (Debbie) of Wymore and Jerry Kier of Blue Springs; her daughter-in-law Gail Kier; her grandchildren, Amy Parde (Eric), Angela Henrichs (Aaron), Brian Kier (Amber), Jeff Hill (Lisa) and Jodi Wegner (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Courtney Seward (Jim), Cole, Hailey Parde, Kaden, Easton, Carter, Aubrie Kier, Riley and Maddie Wegner; her great great grandchildren, Jimmy and Ava Seward; her sister Clarice Lumsden (Hank); and her sister-in-law Betty Meyer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wymore Country Club and the Wymore United Methodist Church with the funeral home in charge.
