He was predeceased by: his father Roger Powell Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Liana Powell (Ottersberg) of Plattsmouth, NE; his son Alan Powell (Rachel Blackmore) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Jeannie Blackmore of Lincoln, Raiden Hiatt of Lincoln and Noah Powell of Lincoln; his daughter Debra Powell (Brandon Harris) of Lincoln; his grandson Bradley Powell (Sydney Kerner); his daughters, Makayla Powell, Danielle McCarter and Emily McCarter; his great grandchildren, Elliott Powell, Ronan Munden and Raeha Munden; and his siblings, Russ, Mike Powell, Karen Hudson (Bruce) and Janet Kouma (Greg). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the West Side Baptist Church (448 W Court St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
Memorials contributions are suggested to the West Side Baptist Church in Beatrice.
