He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Uhing and Ida Uhing; his siblings, Jerome, Leonard, Andrew Uhing and Maryann Uhing; his brothers-in-law, Stanley Varilek, Charles Bares and Leo Kocmick; his wife Gail Uhing; his son John Uhing; his son-in-law Tito Galvez; his children, Jeanne and Joseph; and his granddaughters, Kirsten and Candace.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Steffen (Joseph) of Rosemount, MN, Gerry Uhing (Shelly), South, Debora Galvez of St. Cloud, MN and Lynette Richardson (Ronald) of Anoka, MN; his great grandchildren, Eliana and Theodore Katerinos; his sisters, Rita Varilek of Tabor, SD, Margaret Bares of Tyndall, SD, Irene Kocmick of Tyndall, SD and Rosemary Folkers (David) of Bow Valley; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Uhing of Bow Valley, NE and Sandra Uhing of Fordyce, NE.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
