He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Anthony and Erma Laura Promes (Noecker); his brother Charles "Carly" Promes (Sharon); and his granddaughter Corrine Promes. He is survived by: his son Neil Patrick (Sharon Promes) of Yankton, SD; his grandchildren, Jacob Westergaard, Alivia Westergaard, Isabel Westergaard and Madison Promes; his siblings, Tom Promes (LeeAnne) of Seward, Mike Promes of Virginia, NE and Mary Jean "Jeannie" Donner (Bob) of Crofton; and his friend Mary Zuhlke of Crofton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, cousins.
