She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rhoades and Marie Rhoades (Campain); her spouse Merle A. Heiden; her daughter-in-law Cindy Heiden; and her brother Gene Rhoades.

She is survived by: her children, Mervin Heiden of Blair, NE, Randy Heiden (Sandy) of Des Moines, IA, Rick Heiden of York, Catherine Norquest (Larry) of York and Rhonda Wlaschin (Aaron) of Columbus, NE; and her siblings, Larry Rhoades of York and Frances Lemburg of Grand Island, NE.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
