She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Whitwer and Adelaide Whitwer (Ingwaldson); her brother Brent Whitwer; and her aunts and uncles, Ida M. Fletcher, Erna N. Thorson, Edward T. Whitwer, Oscar A. Whitwer, Raymond A. Whitwer, Ralph R. Whitwer, Charles F. Whitwer and William N. Whitwer.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Bailey of York; her children, Shannon Dehl of York and Edgar Dehl; her grandchildren, Maritza Acosta of York, Mikel Powers (Tristan) of Lincoln, VictorMaddock of Lincoln and Jay D. Guy of Lincoln; and her pet Chiquita. She is also survived by relatives and lifelong friends.
