He was predeceased by : his parents, Bert Callahan and Myrtle Callahan (Anderson); and his siblings, Leslie, Warren, Eileen and Dale.

He is survived by : his wife Winifred Nazara Kirk of York; and his children, Jonathan Callahan (Connie) of York, Jennifer Schoenrock (Garlan) of Wayneville, MO, Laurel Henrichsen (Doug) of Hastings, MN, Karen Callahan of Hastings, NE and Charlene Hess (Brian) of Minneapolis, MN.
