He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett L. Scott and Ardith Scott (Skelton); and his siblings, Dean and Diane. He is survived by: his wife Mary Priefert of York; his sons, Zac Scott (Amanda) of York, Nick Scott (Kelsey) of Norfolk, NE, Ryan Scott (Sarah) of York, Adam Scott (Anna) of Lincoln, NE and Curtis Scott (Sydney) of Gretna, NE; his grandchildren, Jane Scott, Ethan Dodson, Hudson Scott and Wyatt Scott; and his brother Dennis Brown (Sue Munch) of York. He is also survived by niece, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (309 E 7th St, York, NE 68467).
