Peters of York, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dietrich J. Peters and Grace Peters (Hablitzel); his stepdaughter Kris Winkelman; his sisters, Merdith Schlegelmilch and Patsy Reutzel; and his grandchildren, Samantha Brouillette and Bryce Peters.

He is survived by : his wife Karen of York; his children, Shelly Peters of Schuyler, NE, Carmen Thomas of Des Moines, IA and Tim Peters (Tanya) of Stromsburg, NE; his stepsons, Mitchell Brouillette (Joan) of Elkhorn, NE and Spencer Brouillette of Lincoln, NE; and his siblings, Gladys Pierce of Crete, NE and Marvin Hablitzel (Connie) of Osceola, NE.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church or to the family.
