She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Reed and Gladys Reed (Dory); her husband F. Max Chittenden; her grandmother Smith Apple Contest; and her siblings, Beverly Dunham (Warren), Howard Reed and Terry Reed (Joyce).
She is survived by: her son Kent Reed (Janet); her grandchildren, Kelsey Fikar (Jordan) and Kendall Reed (Paige); her great grandchildren, Madison Vogel and Barrett Vogel; her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Harrison, Kyle Harrison (Gina) and Samantha Davidson (Drake); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Odin Harrison and Isley Davidson; her siblings, Terrill Johns (Joe) and Tim Reed; and her great grandchildren, Leah and Brynlee Vogel. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (309 E 7th St, York, NE 68467). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
