He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wurst and Elise Wurst (Kurzen); and his siblings, Clarence, Herman, Frank, Richard, Willie, Ruby Sheldon, Rose Brown, Eunice Rahorst and Lois Nicholson.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Louise Jacobsen; his children, Dave Wurst of Cozad, NE, Dan Wurst of Bradshaw, NE, Lillie Wurst of York and Beth Wurst of York; his grandson Michael Wurst (Sara) of Omaha, NE; his daughter Ava; his grandchildren, Tera, Corbin and Porter; and his sister Marie Carlson of Stromsburg, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
