With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Eugene Rosenau (York, Nebraska), born in Geneva, Nebraska, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Harold Rosenau (Harry) and Blanche Rosenau (Butler); his wife Virginia Rosenau (McPeck); and his brother Ronald Rosenau Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Pat Falter (Barry), Pam Fleury (Roger), Dr. Perry Rosenau (Jane) and Paul Rosenau; his sister Beth Barlow; his grandchildren, Col. Adam Brinkman (Kara), Andrew Brinkman (Katee), Dr. Arielle Brinkman, Layne Ford, Anna Brinkman, Dr. Megan Fleury, Marc Fleury, Dr. Alexa Rosenau, Wyatt Suddarth and Aleah Rosenau; and his great grandchildren, Piper, Stella Brinkman, Cora, Oren Brinkman-Bonavia, Ophelia and Ivy Ford.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to The Grace Space (hospice) in Lincoln, the Harold and Ginny Rosenau Fine Arts Scholarship, or York First United Methodist Church.
