He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Junge and Ruth E. Junge (Staehr); his brother Mark A. Junge; his granddaughter Madisyn Rose Junge; his brothers-in-law, Gail L. Rystrom, Roger Hillmer, Douglas Dey, Bill Sabin, Ronald Rohren and Veryl Rohren; his nephews, Kevin and Kelvin Rystrom; and his in-laws, Walter and Esther Rohren.
He is survived by: his wife Carolleen of York; his children, Brian Junge (Nicky), Colton Junge of Joplin, MO, Timothy Junge (Lindsay), Kaden, Kinley Junge of Mahomet, IL, Angela Wilcoxson (Erik), Audrey, Alex, Thomas Wilcoxson of Gretna, Tyler Craven (Makenna) of Ashland, NE, Matthew Junge (Ashley), Jackson and Addilyn of Lincoln, NE.; his sisters, Marilyn J. Dey of Gresham, NE, Rosalie Hillmer of York, NE and Janet Sabin of Lincoln, NE; and his sister-in-law Peg Rohren of Seward, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers and plants, Memorials may be directed to the Lutheran Hour or the Emmanuel Lutheran School in York.
