It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Joseph Stewart of York, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Stewart and Lucia Stewart (Gibilterra); and his brothers, Bernard Stewart and Gene Petersen. He is survived by : his sisters, Sharon Schomaker (John) of Tampa, FL, Claire A. Jarecki of Glenwood, IA and Carolyn Theil of Joplin, MO; and his close friend Wesley Trollope. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
