He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Simons and Lois Simons (Graham); and his siblings, Judy and Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Simons of York; his sons, Raymond Simons (Dani) of Polk, NE, Robert Simons (Jeanne) of York and Donald Simons (Chloe) of York; and his siblings, Steve Simons of Lincoln, Tom Simons (Barb) of Lincoln, Sherry Padgett of Charlotte, NC and Beverly Simons of Humboldt, NE. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to his family for later designation or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
