She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Nelson and Blanche Nelson (Shroyer); her husband Milan Lee Blase; and her siblings, Ramona Maw (Don), Ada Springer (Merton), JoEllen Peters (Arnold), Dale Nelson (Phyllis), Charles Nelson and Bill Nelson (Judy).
She is survived by: her sons, Kim Blase of York, Kevin Blase (Jodie) of Polk, NE and Kurt Blase of York; her grandchildren, Kasey Blase of Maysville, MO, Korey Blase of York, Jordyn Blase of York, Karlie Walkup (Sean) of York, Joslyn Moore (Zach) of Aurora, NE, Zachary Blase of Scottsdale, AZ and Trinity Hawthorne (Joe) of Central City, NE; and her sister-in-law Shirley Nelson of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
