We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2023, at the age of 67, Kathy Dowty of York, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Dimmitt and Glendora Dimmitt (Murray); her brother Michael; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Alberta Dowty; her brother-in-law Ed Dowty (Cheryl); and her nephew Ed Dowty.
She is survived by : her husband David Dowty of York; her children, Lori Zimmerman (Trevis) of Carson, IA and Bill Dowty (Gina) of York; her grandchildren, Tucker Zimmerman, Rylee Zimmerman of Carson, IA, Darian Czarnick of York, Cole Dowty (Destiny) of York, Tyson Nitzel of York and MaKenna Dowty of York; her great grandchild Ezra Dowty; her brother Roger Dimmitt (Mona) of Grand Island; and her pets, Cooper and Daisy. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
