He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Ayers and Ella Ayers (Mann); his children, Kristine and Kenneth; his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Regan and Kenneth G. Regan; and his sisters-in-law, Syd Regan and Nancy Ayers.
He is survived by: his wife Trish of York; his daughter Kara (Noah McNeese) of Aurora; his children-in-law, Brad Washburn of Divide and Sea of Chiang-Mai; his grandchildren, Adrianna Collamore (Lane), Cora McNeese and William McNeese (Will); his great grandchildren, Callie and Charlotte Collamore; Ron Ayers of Mesa, Arizona..
A rosary will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (505 N E Ave, York, NE 68467).
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to the family for the benefit of the York Adopt-A-Pet, or the Nebraska State Patrol Make-A-Wish Foundation.
