He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wiehn and Gertrude Wiehn (Zach); his brother John; his siblings-in-law, Todd Papstein and Cathy; and his nephew Jason Beed.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Papstein of York; his sons, Nick Wiehn (Maggie) of Lincoln, NE and Jacob (Kyndell) of Naperville, IL; his granddaughter Elsie; and his siblings, Larry Wiehn (Diane) of Lincoln, Kevin Wiehn of Columbus, NE, Jim Wiehn (Jane) of Humphrey, NE, Brian Wiehn (Cheryl) of Columbus, NE and Linda Wiehn of Norfolk, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to York Youth Baseball, York Legion Baseball, or donor's choice.
