He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas W. Braden and Elizabeth Ann Braden (Schropfer); his brother Melvin; his wife Louisa; his sons-in-law, Tom Kamler and Randy Damratowski; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin Kamler and Elizabeth Ann Braden.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Braden (Amy) of Firth, NE, Shirley Kamler of Ohiowa, Barbara Damratowski of Omaha and Theresa Stein of Fremont. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces.

Memorials are to be directed to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
