It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Mae (Janzen) Gloystein of York, Nebraska, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Janzen and Helen Janzen (Meloy); her former husband Wayne Cotner; her in-laws, Fred and Hanna Gloystein; her brother Lowell Janzen (Fay); her brothers-in-law, Elroy Gloystein, Kenneth Gloystein (Edee) and Harold Gloystein (Geri); Lorena Cotner (Floyd Gloystein).

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Watson (Richard, family: Katy Watson, Jennifer Perez, Carissa Perez, Catherine, Cora Perez, Enid) of McGregor, TX, Dr. Brad Gloystein (Mary, family: Jesse Gloystein, Reese, Reagan, Paige Gloystein, Jennifer Platt, Maya, Gabriella Platt, Jason Gloystein) of York and Dr. Kim Gloystein (Carrie, family: Tess Cargo, Oliver, Evelyn Cargo, Tanner Gloystein, Tara Gloystein) of Vicksburg, MI; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Gloystein of Davis, CA and Dale Cotner (Ramona) of York.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to York Adopt-A-Pet or Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
