As Wilfred Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Wilfred Michael. Though Wilfred Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil J. Medinger and Agnes Medinger (Ronkar); his daughter Teresa; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Marietta Beringer; and his children, Michael Medinger of Henderson, John Medinger (Janelle) of York and Lori Medinger (Tim Axline) of York.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (505 N E Ave, York, NE 68467).
