Wilma Jean Rich Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Wilma Jean Rich of York, Nebraska is shared. Wilma, born on May 13, 1933, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dumpert and Dorothy Dumpert; her husband Dean Rich; her brother Bob Dumpert; her brother-in-law Warren Thomsen; and her son-in-law Butch Bowman.

She is survived by: her children, David Rich (Barb) of Columbus, Darin Rich (Wendy) of Lincoln, Brenda Kropt (Rick) of Norfolk and Barb Bowman of York; her siblings, Tom Dumpert (Phyllis) of Lincoln, Gary Dumpert (Sherry) of Exeter, Lois Thomsen of Exeter and Carol Aden (Gary) of Surprise, AZ; and her sister-in-law Jane Dumpert. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
