With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Jay Gardner of Yutan, Nebraska, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul Jay may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Dolly Gardner (Rogers) and Walter Gardner; and his half-sister Clothilde Fairchild. He is survived by: his wife Garnet Gardner; and his sons, Walter Gardner (Sue), Paul Gardner Jr. (Mary Novak), Michael Gardner (Sandy) and Richard Gardner (Jeanette). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
