With sadness, we share the passing of Constance I. Fortier of Allenstown, New Hampshire. Constance, born on March 26, 1945, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Constance for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Constance’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fanny and Eva Fanny (Garon); her husband Richard R. Fortier; and her siblings, Robert Fanny, Cecile Moore and Ronald Fanny.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Fortier of Loudon, Richard Fortier, Jr. (Amanda) of Epsom and Gail Fortier (Jeff Backman) of Allenstown. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (129 River Rd, Allenstown, NH 03275).
