He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whiteside and Mary Whiteside (Moncousky). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Whiteside (Kalpokis) of Alton Bay, NH; his children, Kevin Whiteside (Maureen (Hannagan)), Kathy Gallagher (Greg) and Karen Miller (AJ); his granddaughter Melissa Scott (Mike); his great grandchildren, Lucas and Jackson; his granddaughter Jessica Martin (Glenn); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Emmeline and Callan.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org) or Granite VNA (http://www.granitevna.org) in support of Hospice House.
