She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Mitchell (Palmer) and James Mitchell; and her sisters, Ann Wood, Mary Graffam and Sally Ricker.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Savage; her children, Kelley Garufi (Michael) and James Savage (Karen); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Lauren and Rachael; and her brother James Mitchell.
