He was predeceased by : his wife Helen T. Melanson. He is survived by : his daughter Katherine Emerson; his son-in-law Ryan; his grandsons, William and Benjamin Emerson; his siblings, Leo Melanson, Carmen Dyer, Philip Melanson and Jeanne Melanson of New Hampshire; and his son Tim.
