It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brian E Scothorne (Ashland, New Hampshire), born in Bethel, Maine, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Keaten Gallagher. He is survived by : his wife Nancy J. Scothorne; his children, Michelle Mokos (Joe) of Calabash, NC, Kara Gallagher of Meredith, NH, Lindsey Gallagher (Luc Bourgeois) of Dracut and William Scothorne of Virginia; his sister Gail Kalloch of Gorham, ME.; his grandchildren, Anthony, Ally, Riley, Benjamin Scothorne, David, Kevin, Corey Mokos and Ariannah Roy; and his great grandchild Keaten Mokos. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Ashland United Methodist Church in Brian's honor.

“Nancy and family. We are so very sorry for your loss. Brian was a great friend and brought lots of smiles, laughs and Joy to all who knew him. Brian was one of the first people I met on our arrival in NH in 1976. We hit it off immediately and remained good friends for 47 years. He will be so missed by so many. John and Brownie Schoebauer.”
