He was predeceased by: his parents, Carleton Abear and Patricia Abear (Savage); and his brother David. He is survived by: his significant other Anne (King); his sons, Jeff King (Monica), Jon Abear (Samantha) and Matt Abear (Moselle); his grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Lexi and Henry Abear; his pet Babe; his sister Susan Paquette (David); and his siblings-in-law, Phil King (Lois) and Elaine Hanley (Karl). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
