He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen LaPoint (Curry) and William LaPoint. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Miner LaPoint of Ashuelot; and his children, Richard LaPoint Jr. of Winchester, Ann Davis of Winchester, William LaPoint of Winchester, Susan LaPoint of Winchester and Sharon Greatbatch of Swanzey. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
