He was predeceased by: his father Anthony Makarevic; and his siblings, Joseph Makarevic, Pauline Hatfield Davis and Cecilia Dominic. He is survived by: his wife Helen Balka Makarevic (Betty); his children, Stanley Makarevic (Jill), Michael Makarevic, Diane Colasurdo (Michael), Betty Agin, Jean Makarevic and Lynn Marie Gargano; his grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Clinton, Curtis, John, Ava, Julianna and Polina; and his niece Carole Vogeley (Will).
