He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Frangiosa (Mark) of Barnstable, MA and Tamson "Tammy" Kelley (John) of Gardner, MA; his grandchildren, Melinda, Wayne, Thomas (Bethany) and Chelsea (Mac); and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Adam, Colin, Madison, Noah and Adeline.
He also served as an advisor to the Foundation Scientific Europe, which published research and technology in 20 European countries, entitled Scientific Europe.
