She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Butson and Thelma Butson (Rodd). She is survived by: her husband Robert G. Chaffet; her daughter Julie; her son-in-law Matt DeGrandpre of Atkinson, NH; her daughter Betsy R. Chaffet of Tampa; her sister Jane Webster of Mystic; her granddaughters, Ava and Lyla; her niece Sarah Webster; and her nephews, Andrew and Peter Webster.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Noank Baptist Church.
